| The Worship Committee is responsible for anything worship related! Advised by the pastor, we plan/oversee the various elements of worship services such as musicians, altar guild,essential volunteers, worship styles, speakers and details such as dates/times. We assist in coordinating worship opportunities during special seasons of the church year. The church office schedules acolytes, communion helpers, lectors, greeters and ushers according to recent Time and Talent sheets. We also keep an eye on the budget and purchasing needs for worship at Bethesda. We welcome your input and ideas!! | Winter Weather Procedure There may be times when worship may be cancelled because of winter storms and icy road conditions, especially since Pastor Don must travel some distance from Sauk Centre. Our winter weather policy will be that Pr. Don and our council president will make a decision on whether or not worship will be cancelled by 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, 6 a.m. Sunday morning, and 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon for mid-week activities. The notice of cancellation will be given over KXRA-AM, KXRA-FM (KX92), Z99, KIKV, and Cool 94 radio. If the weather is questionable, please tune into these stations for the announcements. |
